With CVD diamond and alpha corundum ceramics we have already two of the very best membrane materials on earth, so why search for a new one?
The largest ceramic dome, which we are able to produce without suffering any loss of quality has a maximum diameter of 160 mm. It is used for example for our C220- series. The diameter of our diamond dome is significantly smaller.
Conducting research for the development of larger bass cones, we discovered some interesting solutions.
