Cables
"Which cable should we use for the internal wiring of our loudspeakers?"
To answer this question competently, we have researched the design and construction of loudspeaker cables extensively. Our solutions take the conductor material and its cross-section, the dielectric, the structure, and application into consideration.
SP1-OCC
Construction:
- 10 rotated OCC conductors on air-tube
- Single layer with 10 strands, marked as 5 colored and 5 black
- Silk-paper for resonance-control
- Non-aging PU outer jacket
Specification:
Conductor: Ultra-Pure-Ohno-Continous Casting
copper wire (UPOCC) also known as OCC
Insulation: High Quality FPE insulation with low dielectric constant and low dielectric absorption
Outer Diameter: 8,5 mm
Wire Diameter of each single conductor: 0,7 mm = 0,385 mm² Number of strands: 10
Insulation thickness: 0,4 mm
*Inductivity: 0,70 µH/m @ 1kHz
*Capacitance: 80,0 pF/m @ 1kHz
*= Wiring: all colored interconnected (plus) / all black interconnected (GND)
SP2-OCC
Construction:
- 20 reverse rotated OCC conductors on air-tube
- double layer with 20 strands, marked with 10 in gray inside and 10 in white outside with spacers in between
- Mylar-foil for resonance-control
- Non-aging PU outer sleeving
