The CL173 – 6 – 391 is a 7 inch bass-midrange driver with a unique new dome material, supporting our portfolio as an alternative to our ceramic cone drivers.
The proprietary material was developed to achieve a lightweight yet extremely stiff dome with higher mechanical resilience, perfectly suited for robust high efficiency bass-midrange drivers.
The bass-midrange is built with the same parts as our famous C173-6-191, only the cone is different. It provides higher SPL because of the lighter cone material, but also a little lower cone resonance frequency.
Our classic ferrite overhung motor provides excellent cost-performance ratio.
