The BD30–6–036 is a 1.2 inch tweeter with ultra hard diamond dome in a 82 mm frontplate. As the dome breakup frequency is around 45 kHz, no damping cutouts are required. The unsurpassed rigidity of the diamond dome leads to most accurate conversion from electrical energy to sound pressure. An FEA optimized underhung motor design with vented aluminium voice coil former and neodymium magnet guarantees low energy storage and excellent heat transfer. The soft fabric surround and ferrofluid with high viscosity center the moving parts with excellent linearity. We recommend our BD30-6-036 in an application above 1800 Hz.
